Venturing upstairs, you’ll step into an inviting open-plan space where the kitchen, dining area, and living room merge seamlessly together. This bright and airy atmosphere is created by the abundance of natural light pouring in from three well-placed roof lights and the expansive floor-to-ceiling windows. The stylish kitchen is fully equipped and ready for your self-catering holiday needs, featuring a fridge freezer, hob, oven and microwave. Aside from the fantastic views, guests can satisfy their entertainment needs with the large flat-screen TV with Freeview TV. East Lothian, also known as Scotland's Golf Coast, is a golfer's paradise. The region is home to some of the world's greatest links, including the largest concentration of Championship courses anywhere in the world - such as Muirfield, The Renaissance Club, and North Berwick, all just a short drive away. Dunbar has its own railway station, offering an hourly service that takes only 30 minutes to reach the centre of Edinburgh. Book now: To make a booking you can book directly through this site. All you need to do is select your dates and the number of guests. The price will be calculated for you. You are required to pay a 20% deposit payment with a minimum payment of £150.00 or higher which secures the property, this payment is non-refundable in the event of a cancellation. Then, 42 days prior to your arrival date the balance will be payable – after this date the booking will be fully non-refundable. A £150 refundable damage/security deposit is due 7 days before arrival and refunded after departure. Old Coastguard Station welcomes up to two dogs. Please note there is a small additional charge of £30 per pet for this. Please also note complimentary mid stay cleans (including the provision of fresh linen and towels) will be provided as follows: Bookings for 14-21 nights will receive one mid stay clean Bookings for 21-28 nights will receive two mid stay cleans Should you require any further mid stay cleans or linen and towels provided please note there will be an additional cost for this. This house is spread over two levels, with the upper level accessible by stairs only.

Fabulous home, sitting on the seafront.
I wholeheartedly recommend this beautiful, stylish home. It’s incredibly well-equipped with everything you could possibly need. We loved the balcony with its picturesque views of the beach and sea. The house is spotlessly clean, and the bed is super comfy. The house is within easy walking distance of good restaurants, and shops. A wonderful weekend of peace and tranquillity. Go - you'll love it!

The property makes for the perfect base to explore all that East Lothian (officially the sunniest place in Scotland!) has to offer. There’s a wonderful coastline with sandy bays, rocky coves and fishing harbours to be explored at North Berwick, Seacliff, Dunbar, Port Seton and Cockenzie. Or further inland you can discover the beautiful, unspoiled countryside and woodlands of Binning, Pressmennan, and Butterdean to name a few, and the picturesque villages of Stenton, Garvald, Tyninghame & Dirleton many of which boast the quaintest coffee shops around. Then to the south extends the rolling hills of the Lammermuirs. Dunbar is also conveniently located near public transport, and Scotland’s capital city of Edinburgh is just a short 30-minute (approx.) bus or train ride away. Create a splash at Dunbar Leisure Pool, the ultimate centre for aquatic fun for all the family! The pool has a beached area, as well as a wave machine, water jets and flume.
