Interaction with guests
The property is completely self contained. I live in London so I am not around to assist. I do however have the services of an extremely efficient housekeeper who is on hand to deal with any emergencies should that happen. Inside Breakers Sound there is a welcome book with all the important details to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

About the neighbourhood
A Victorian seaside town with a Mediterranean feel, Ventnor is one of the sunniest spots on the island. Built on a series of terraces beneath St Bonchurch Down the town's roads zigzag down to the sea past the beautifully planted cascade. Over the past years Ventnor has become a very popular resort with the introduction of new wine bars, fine dining and fabulous properties. The esplanade has a sand and shingle beach ideal for swimming, sunbathing or walking. Adjacent to the beach you will find pubs & cafes who offer locally caught sea food. Watch the boats leave from the harbour and return with the day's catch from the beach front cafes and The Spyglass Inn.
Getting around
Getting around the island is extremely easy by car. The nearest train station is in Shanklin which will take you all the way up to Ryde. There are good bus routes around most parts of the island. Taxis are available but can be expensive.
