Our holiday home is in the award-winning Nautilus building situated on the seafront at Westward Ho! Floor to ceiling windows give uninterrupted sea views across the bay from Baggy Point to Hartland Point. Westward Ho!’s Blue Flag 2 mile sandy beach is just a stone’s throw away, excellent for learning to surf. Offering the perfect setting for a family holiday, Westward Ho! makes a great base for outdoor activities. Cycle off road on the scenic Tarka Trail, play a round at the Royal North Devon Golf Club (the oldest links course in the country), walk the South West Coast Path. The picturesque villages of Appledore and Clovelly are nearby. Alternatively, relax within the comfort of the apartment and watch the waves breaking in front. There really is something for everyone.

Westward Ho Nautilus apartments
We love the nautilus apartments, we have stayed in numerous of the apartments all ground floor apartments follow the same layout, apart from one near the pub which I believe is a 2 bedroom, apartments above are 2 bedroomed. All look over the sea, great on a wintery day coming in from the cold and having a nice bowl of hot soup and watching people as they go by through the full window fronted apartment. All have a nice terrace which is lovely in the summer. Can be overexpensive during the summer months. Westward Ho has many memories of my grandparents who had a beach hut in Westward ho they lived in Bideford a few miles away. My husband and I have had many holidays here in the nautilus buildings, and in Appledore with the family.
