A bright spacious apartment with stunning views over the river forth in the unique and historical village of Culross. Take a step back in time and visit Culross with its 17th and 18th century houses and its many historical attractions. Visit the beautiful National Trust Culross Palace as well as the ancient Abbey and Townhouse. Cosy and clean

Visited with family last weekend. We have family in the village, so this is a great location for us. The property was clean and cosy with a great view of the water. We've already booked our next stay in the summer.

Excellent Accomodation

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Blackadder Haven. The apartment was clean, tidy and well appointed. The village was lovely and the views from the building excellent. I would highly recommend tthis apartment and the owners who were friendly and helpful.

Gorgeous apartment with an excellent host

An excellent apartment in a lovely village

The apartment was really great with excellent amenities and a memorable view. It was very good for access to the central region of Scotland. We especially liked the Fife coastal villages/towns such as Limekilns, Aberdour and Burntisland. A really enjoyable week.

About the neighbourhood
The apartment nestles within the historic village of Culross, with it's wonderful cobbled streets and beautiful houses. Directly opposite the apartment is a beautiful community garden and only a short walk away is the palace and palace gardens. Culross Abbey and townhouse are other local attractions. For refreshments we have cosy cafe's and the Red Lion Inn, famed for it's sizzling steaks. The area has many fantastic coastal and village walks and there is play park in the centre of the village.
Getting around
Buses from Culross run to Stirling and Glasgow. For Edinburgh catch the bus to Dunfermline and change for Edinburgh or use the park and ride at Inverkeithing also for Edinburgh. Trains run from Dunfermline or Inverkeithing to Edinburgh. It is very difficult for parking in Edinburgh it is always better to go by train or bus
