Stayed here for 3 winter months during refurbishment of my own house. A practical and warm cottage in the middle of a pleasant village with good amenities. Handy for Warwick, Leamington, Stratford on Avon and the north Cotswolds.

About the neighbourhood
Kineton is a traditional village, well serviced with local shops including two convenience stores, a butchers, a public house, a florist and a book shop. For those occasions when you don't fancy cooking, there is a local pub, a cafe, an India restaurant and a fish and chip shop. All are 1 minutes walking distance from the property which is hidden away in the centre of the village. Kineton has a riding stables and there are many country walks including along the River Dene and around Edge Hill on the 'Battlefields Trail'. The area attracts many for bike riding, and offers trails suitable for children, away from the traffic, through the English countryside, . We are a short drive away from many local attractions including: ~ Compton Verney House and art gallery, complete with adven...
Getting around
A car is recommended for use during your stay. There are some (infrequent) buses to Stratford upon Avon and Leamington Spa, but there is no service on a Sunday. Trains run very regularly from Banbury station into London Marylebone ( 1 hour fast service) or from Leamington Spa or Warwick Parkway into Birmingham.
