Wonderful cottage, great welcome.
Great location in lovely rural setting. Owner very helpful, very smooth booking service (even a short video showing exactly where the cottage is located - a great idea).
The Grantham Canal (disused but picturesque and a good towpath) is adjacent and access to the towpath is 100 yards or so, over the road bridge.
We received a warm welcome and it was obvious that a lot of thought has gone into setting up this lovely cottage for holiday lets e.g not just listing what is available but where it is (another very useful idea).
Excellent welcome pack - nearest food shop a few miles away (small Co-Op in Bottesford), great pub a couple of minutes' walk away, free-range eggs next door, secure off-road parking next to cottage.
Many return visitors judging by the comments book and we can see why!

Wonderful Cottage in beautiful village of Redmile
We had a super stay here. The cottage was very well equipped with everything we needed. The breakfast essentials were very welcome. Cosy, quaint, parking and a private little garden make this a great base for a holiday. The Windmill Pub is a short walk away and offers excellent food and a great atmosphere. We’ll definitely stay here again.

Absolutely Delightful
What a gorgeous place to stay, the cottage is just beautiful and so very welcoming we had a lovely surprise in a basket full of all sorts of goodies thanks to the amazing owners and everywhere was dressed for the festive season. It was spotlessly clean which is really important to me
Its located in one of the most beautiful places with outstanding countryside all around... I will definitely be returning in one of the summer months so we can make the most of the walks... thank you Martha for making our stay so special hopefully see you again soon...well when everything opens up again

A wonderfully relaxing home from home.
This cottage is so delightful to spend time in. It is beautifully decorated and the space is used so cleverly (to make several little areas to relax indoors or out). The host leaves lovely little welcoming touches to make guests feel special - flowers, breakfast hamper, logs for the log burner etc etc.
You can just 'hole up' here and relax, read, watch TV... or the fabulous log burner.
Or you can take a trip to Nottingham for city amenities, Grantham - for a wander around or country walks, stunning historic houses (including Belvoir Castle on Sundays). The visitor book shows many, many repeat bookings. A sure sign that this cottage is superb. I also think it is excellent value for such a beautiful place! Very highly recommended.

Homely and welcoming place to stay
From the moment we walked through the door, the cottage felt homely and welcoming. We were travelling with a 9 month old and we felt happy to let her crawl around and explore the cottage.
The welcome note on the blackboard and the bread, eggs, tea, coffee and cereals were all nice little touches to make you feel welcome and you could make a brew straight away without unpacking. Even the wood burning stove was all set ready to light if you needed it.
Everything was clean and tidy with good sized rooms and a big open plan living area. The outdoor space was great too with a barbecue and seating area.
All in all it is a great place to stay and we would not hesitate to re-visit again or recommend this cottage to anybody.

A fabulous, cosy cottage
We stayed here as we have family in the village. It was perfect, so cosy for a winter in England. It had been beautifully decorated for Xmas which my children loved. Everything was provided for the beginning of our stay - bread, milk, eggs, coffee, tea etc - so we did not have to rush to stock up. The whole place felt very clean and well looked after and the owner could not have been more accommodating.
The village and surrounding areas are fabulous with lots of things to do and see.
