Orvieto, one of the loveliest towns in Umbria, rich in monuments, history and folklore. Perched on the impressive tufa rock that rises on the Paglia Valley, it was flourishing Etruscan and then Roman province city before becoming, in the Middle Ages, a powerful Municipality. It preserves much of the old charm in the old town, through its streets and squares stand numerous churches of all periods and styles San Giovenale, St. Andrew, St. Francis and St. Dominic and of course his famous Duomo. Everything is attractively accessible by walking up and down the city!

Casa Aurora Orvieto is at the center of the city, close to the Duomo and the famous landmarks (St. Patrick's Well, Teatro Mancinelli and Orvieto Underground). To this it will be pleasant to walk between one place and the other the discovery of medieval streets and alleys.
