Large house with 4 bedrooms with en-suite bathroom with stunning river views, close to the beach of Barra do Jacuípe, Bahia, Brazil. Surrounded by green, the house has a large verandah, garden and swimming pool deck with a kiosk with a brick barbecue, pool table and a toilet.
Our gate opens onto a large river-beach with lots of sand and shade. The river, with sandy bottom and clear waters is great for swimming, fishing and paddling.
500m from the house, via Jacuípe river, is the paradisiachal Barra do jacuípe beach, which can provide many hours of fun and relaxation.
There is a restaurant with access on the main road and also a gate into our private estate. There are many grocery shops, pharmacies, fishmongers, bakery, bars, shops and beach bars nearby.

The house has 4 rooms with en-suite bathrooms, all with air conditioning and ceiling fan. We have also netting on our windows.
The swimming pool is large, with a huge deck and a kyosk by the pool
with a brick barbecue, a pool table and a toilet. We also have granite tables and wooden benches and portable card table.
Our movable Wendy house can be placed on the pool deck, next to the barbecue and pool table area, so you can watch the children play while having fun.
Our showers are heated by the ever present Bahian sun.
You can feel its energy going through your body.
The name Sereia comes from
the mermaid statue on the river beach,
just outside our gate.
There is a river beach in front of our gate,
with several trees and white sand.
It is frequented only
for residents of this
small estate.
The clear river, being close
the sea is salty waters
and very nice for swimming,
fishing and kayaking,
boating and stand up paddling.
The house is in a private small
residential estate soon past
rio Jacuipe bridge, in Barra do Jacuipe,
approximately 30km from Salvador airport.
The house is beautiful
and the location
It is heavenly,
surrounded by green,
quiet and pleasant.
The house has a large verandah with
sofas, hammocks and a dining table
as well as river views and lots breeze.
The large kitchen equipped with 5 burner cooker
with oven and grill, large fridge, microwave,
sandwich toaster, blender, mixer, crockery,
glasses, pots and pans, refractory dishes,
well, everything you may need.
We also have a separate freezer,
a second fridge by the bar and
a third fridge on the kyosk.

Lugar incrível para passar um tempo com amigos, longe das atribuições da cidade. O quarto é incrivelmente confortável, e o banheiro tem a melhor ducha quente que já tive em muito tempo!
Acordo muito cedo, mesmo em tempo de férias! Valeu a pena assistir da varanda, o nascer do sol, num silêncio que trazia muita paz...
O mercado não eh longe, mas o retorno mais próximo disponível, o fará pensar em não sair da Casa da Sereia, a não ser que seja realmente preciso!
Muito seguro para crianças que adoraram a piscina e as brincadeiras ao ar livre.
Enfim. Super recomendo o lugar.

Barra do jacuípe has a paradisiacal beach which can provide many hours of fun and relaxation.
The beach has 'barracas' (informal restaurants on the beach sands) where you can sip some local coconut water and have fresh fish.
There are restaurants, bakeries, supermarkets, shops, ice-cream parlours, cashpoints, nearby.
There are other beautiful beaches in the region, like Arembepe, where there is also a hippe community, Guarajuba, with many restaurant options, Itacimirim, where the river also meets the sea and Praia do Forte, with a beautiful beach, with natural pools (if you walk a little), many restaurants, bars, shops, and teh Tamar Project, for the preservation of sea turtles, besides Garcia D'Ávila,ruins of a medieval castle as well
