We enjoyed our stay and our hosts gave us the best of service. They live close by and responded immediately to any inquiry we had. Very nice people. The property and house were impeccably clean and the furniture and fixtures were all of a very high caliber and perfectly new. We had plenty of privacy and thought the value for money was above average. While the house was everything it was described to be, there were a few drawbacks. The house is actually part of a larger three family structure. It is well fenced between the properties with ample privacy, but not a stand alone. The pool is in a separate fenced enclosure and shared by the other renters (if any). The pool, like the rest, impeccably maintained. Shopping and Beaches were a 10 minute drive. Martiques is a very small town, and while we visited just before the season starts, I would assume it is significantly quieter than the bigger towns around the coast. Plenty of hills and hiking in the immediate area.
