Villa La Tartaruga Sabina offers more than a simple vacation. It offers a unique experience: the best of the countryside, the city and the Italian tradition in one location: convenient railway links and easy auto routes to Rome make it possible to combine the rustic tranquillity of a magical landscape with the excitement of the Eternal City. The family who owns the Villa has always nurtured and shared the pleasure of gathering with friends in the countryside for the family's most important festive occasions. It is in this tradition that the Villa was created. For the owner, sharing the family Villa is a special opportunity to expose international guests to the pristine (and often overlooked) beauty of a land they love -- a mere stone's throw from ROME. VILLA LAYOUT The villa has 8 bedrooms with king size beds and air conditioning, arranged as follows: - First floor: 2 large newly-renovated newly-refurnished luxurious suites, with en-suite bathroom with large shower and bath tube with folding doors opening into the bedroom, and private balcony, and 3 newly-renovated newly-refurnished luxurious bedrooms, each with en-suite bathroom with large shower. - Ground floor: 3 newly-refurnished bedrooms, each with en-suite bathroom with shower and direct access from the garden. All king size beds can split into two twins. By default, the villa sleeps 16 people and the quoted price is for up to 16 people. However, up to 5 extra single beds can be added in 4 of the 8 bedrooms at the price of €40 per bed per night. In addition, there is an office room on the ground floor that can be turned into a 9th bedroom to fit one or two extra single beds at the price of €35 per bed per night; this 9th bedroom wouldn’t have en-suite bathroom, although it’s next to a common bathroom that has sink, toilet and bidé (no shower or bathtub). With the 9th bedroom and all the possible extra beds, the villa can sleep a total max number of 23 people. Several extra beds available at B&B next door. A floor plan of the villa is available upon request. WEDDING PACKAGES: the Villa organizes wedding receptions and offers wedding packages for those looking for a special wedding overseas. COOKING SCHOOL / CULINARY VACATIONS: Cooking classes available in large new luxurious demonstration kitchen with multiple cook stations and new appliances. Culinary vacation packages for most of the year, including daily meals, professional cooking classes, pizza lessons, meals in selected local restaurants and private Rome penthouse with stunning panoramic view, food-related excursions, olive oil & wine tasting, etc. For further details, please contact the owner. CATERED MEALS & PIZZA EVENTS: Catered meals can be arranged upon request. The Villa also organizes pizza events, with a pizza chef cooking pizzas in the Villa's outdoor wood-fired oven.
