The Marlin is a renovated cottage only 200 metres from the popular rock pools and Abrahams Bosom Beach in Beecroft Parade Currarong. The Marlin is a great choice for the budget conscious. Accommodating up to 6 people and providing all the essentials for your holiday, in a perfect position. What more could you want? The deck on the front is the perfect spot to sit and relax after a day exploring the area, fishing, swimming, surfing or whatever it is you like to do. The Marlin provides 2 bedrooms in the house and there is also a cabin at the rear. There is a queen size bed in the main bedroom and 2 single beds in the second bedroom. The owners of The Marlin have lovingly restored the property close to the original condition and when you step inside you feel like you have gone back in time to the days of beach holidays as a child. One of the best things about Currarong is that it is still a sleepy fishing village. Despite being only 2 1/2 hrs drive from Sydney, the town hasn’t been overdeveloped and has a very relaxed feel. Another great thing is its beautiful pristine beaches. In town is legendary Zacs Restaurant where you wont find any fresher seafood. Jervis Bay is only a 10 minute drive with another 6 beaches accessible including the divine Honeymoon Bay. You will be spoilt for choice and you can always find a beach protected from the wind. You can spend the day exploring the many rock pools or bush walk on Beecroft headland. It is a fishing paradise and is also a top spot for surfing and rock climbing which are popular sports in the area. The Marlin certainly is a gem and a must for your next holiday in Currarong. This property will consider bookings for groups of young people and/or Schoolies, however, these bookings can only be made by application. Please message us; a comprehensive guest registration form must be completed prior to confirmation and a 2000 AUD cash bond is payable. Other conditions apply. Notes Payment for the booking warrants you and all guests staying will abide by the Code of Conduct for Short Term Rental Accommodation which can be viewed under the Guest Information tab on our website or a link which will be sent to you in your booking confirmation email. Any extra guests (this includes day visitors) above those that have been booked and paid for must be approved in writing prior to the stay. Only the guests staying at the property are permitted to be present. If you wish to have visitors in addition to booked guests, you must advise us in writing prior to your stay and ensure you receive written permission. This is not possible at all properties. NSW Planning has passed laws that affect guests. The Code of Conduct for holiday renting can be found on our website under the Guest Information tab. In Section 2.5.2 of the STR Code of Conduct, guests have an obligation to ensure the peace and comfort of neighbours and other occupants of the premises (if strata) near holiday rental properties. This means guests have to be very mindful of noise made in or outside the property that can disrupt neighbours at any time of the day. If you or any other guest receives a warning regarding excess noise or excess guests, you may be asked to leave the property immediately with no refund of monies. Noise audible outside the property is prohibited. This property is approved for accommodation only. No mattresses, tents, caravans or more cars than the property accommodates are allowed.
