This property lies in the pretty hamlet of Bloxworth,a tranquil part of the world,with just 200 inhabitants. The surrounding countryside is perfect for enjoying peaceful country walks,however,the property does not feel cut off,as there is much to see and do in the surrounding area,including the historic market town of Wareham with its shops,and pubs,which lies just five miles south of the property. Continuing on past Wareham,towards the coast,visitors will come to the village of Corfe with its famous castle. This atmospheric 1000-year-old fortification is now a romantic ruin maintained by the National Trust and is a much-loved part of English history. Guests staying at this sprawling property are in for a real treat,as it makes a truly special place to stay. On arrival,guests will first come to the kitchen/diner,a light and airy space with beamed vaulted ceilings,stone floors,wood burner-effect electric fire,and a TV. At one end of the room,the farmhouse-style dining table is a great place to gather over breakfast and informal meals,whilst at the other end of the room,the kitchen is well-equipped with an electric Range oven,hob,microwave,American-style fridge/freezer,and dishwasher. A separate utility room houses the washing machine and tumble dryer for those who wish to use them. The comfortable lounge is,arguably,the communal heart of the house,and offers several large sofas,perfect for sitting back and unwinding in front of the wood burner-effect electric fire,TV,and DVD. Two steps lead from the lounge through to the formal dining room,with its large dining table,coal-effect electric fire,and patio doors which lead to the garden. Coming next to the bedrooms,the master bedroom suite is a beautifully designed and styled room,and would rival the honeymoon suite of any grand hotel. This split-level room has a king-size bed from which guests can enjoy a late-night film on the TV,a sofa,large built-in wardrobes,and a spiral staircase which leads to the galleried en-suite bathroom. This spacious bathroom has a sumptuous air and offers a shower-over-bath and WC. The second bedroom is another king-size room,which also has a sofa. This room too,benefits from an en-suite bathroom with shower-over-bath and WC. The third bedroom on the ground floor is a twin room which has an en-suite shower and WC. The fourth bedroom is located on the first floor of the property: a spacious family room,it has two single beds,as well as a king-size bed. This room not only benefits from an en-suite bathroom with bath and WC,but also a fantastic snug room with its own TV,perfect for parents with early-rising children who may want a little extra time in bed. Guests should be aware that this bedroom is in the eaves of the property and a such has some reduced head-height and one particularly low beam in the middle of the room. The horseshoe-shaped property is built around a spacious central courtyard which has garden furniture and a BBQ,and makes a fantastic space for relaxing over drinks. In addition to this,there is a generously-sized lawn garden with countryside views and plenty of space for everyone to enjoy. There is parking for six cars. More
