We wanted a nice little cottage, with a nice hot tub, somewhere quiet and surrounded by countryside. We found the perfect place. A gorgeous little cottage surrounded by fields and woods but only 10 minutes drive from shops. The cottage is just the right size for a short break, plenty of amenities and a hot tub with the most stunning...

This was our first holiday as a family with our 10 month old... and I can't fault it! The most amazing little cottage with great views easy access to towns, main roads the beacons and extremely welcoming and above and beyond owners! On arrival we were met and made to feel very welcome, the house was a picturesque postcard cottage...

Management response:

It was lovely to meet you all, we shall look forward to seeing you again, you are most welcome. Janet and Mike

Great location. Lovely cottage, very cozy with the fire going. Hot tub is located perfectly with great views. Surrounded by countryside so perfect for family walks. Janet and Mike are lovely people and very accommodating and helpful. Was looking forward to clay shooting but couldn't due to broken arm. But there is always next year.

Management response:

Hope your arm is getting better. It was lovely meeting you all and you are most welcome anytime.

About the neighbourhood
The village of Coed-y-Paen doesn't have any shops but it does have a great pub and sitting proudly outside the ancient church is our library contained in the red phone box! There are three local golf courses to enjoy and the reservoir is within walking distance. Boating and fishing is available as well as wonderful walking. Day fishing licences can be bought in the local shops in Usk for fly fishing as the river is famous for it's salmon. If you fancy trying clay pigeon shooting, we have the facilities within our grounds with all the equipment required. One on one instruction is given by Mike who is an experienced competition clay pigeon shooter and instructor.
Dogs are welcome with prior arrangement.
