Sparth Cottage is an attractive barn conversion, situated in a quiet, picturesque setting near a canal and wooded lake in the Pennine Colne Valley, just outside the Peak District National Park. The pretty village of Marsden is only 5 minutes walk down the towpath, with many attractions and events nearby. Through the front door you enter the beamed living room, with wooden flooring and rugs. There's a cosy sitting area to one side (with TV/DVD and woodburner), and to the other side a fold-out dining table and chairs. The sideboard contains games for all ages, and the bookcase has a wide selection of books and DVDs. Wireless broadband is provided. The kitchen has a slate floor, and is fully equipped with washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, cooker and microwave. There is also an espresso maker,...Sparth Cottage is an attractive barn conversion, situated in a quiet, picturesque setting near a canal and wooded lake in the Pennine Colne Valley, just outside the Peak District National Park.
