About the neighbourhood
The area has wonderful hill, forest and beach walks and the Wales Coastal path is nearby. The seaside town of Tywyn is two miles away where you will find all amenities. There is a pub serving good food in the village of Bryncrug just 10 minutes walk away. There are many things to do in the area such as ride on the Talyllyn Railway which was the first preserved steam train in the world. It was here that the Rev. Audrey was a volunteer and found inspiration for his world famous Thomas the Tank Engine stories. A replica of his study containing his original artifacts can be seen at Tywyn Wharf where the trains start and finish their journey.
This was also a strong quaker area and you can visit their grave
