There is one bathroom upstairs with a bathtub, separate electric shower, and bathing towels. The house is very private and outside there is large garden with furniture, BBQ equipment, and a clothes-drying line. There is off-street parking for two cars. The Cloghane/Brandon region is one of the most beautiful spots in the world. Here an exhilarating blend of mountains, sea, and sky entice the visitor to linger, often longer than planned. The cottage is 70 km from Killarney and is just over the Conor Pass from Dingle. The area is known for its fabulous walks of all levels, world-class surfing, beach-combing, and local artists. We offer a free meet and greet service and welcome pack. We also offer free advice and planning help for local activities. Cloghane is about a four-hour drive from Dublin, two hours from Shannon and Cork airports, and about an hour from Killarney. We are just over the Conor Pass from Dingle and a half-hour drive from Tralee. There’s no better place in Ireland to spend a relaxing holiday vacation.More

This is our third year coming here and I will be booking it again for next year. The house is fantastic with all we could need and the location 20 mins from Dingle is great. Fermoyle beach every day . You can drive onto the beach.

We have visited Ireland four times over the past twenty years, and this is my favorite of all the lodgings we have used. The cottage is tidy and quite comfortable. The best feature, however, is the location. All of the activities you could possibly want in a trip to Ireland are easily accessed from the Brandom Mountain Cottage. The Dingle Peninsula is the best Ireland has to offer - not as touristy as the Ring of Kerry. The scenery is fantastic. Next time we travel to Ireland, we will stay at least a few days at Brandon Mtn. Cottage.

We love this location. It’s away from it all but from the cottage you can walk down to Cappagh beach in minutes or if you’re feeling more energetic you can walk into Cloghane or to the pier for a drink/outside dining, or up to the start of the Mount Brandon hike for a fantastic view from the grotto (or by all means go all the way up Brandon but that’s a full day hike and quite difficult so come prepared). You definitely do need a car and it’s only 25 mins drive over the Connor Pass to Dingle for supermarkets, restaurants etc or same to Castlegregory for surfing lesions, water inflatables, horse riding on the beach etc. The cottage is old but it’s very comfortable and everything is spotless and in excellent working order. The internal stairs are steep so keep that in mind if relevant. The two double rooms are spacious, the bunk room is fine for kids or teens. The WiFi is very good. Linda is extremely helpful and in our case was able to accommodate changes from a booking earlier in the year due to COVID restrictions which we appreciated. Oh and the best bit... the views. Photo of the full moon from the front garden. Thanks Linda!

Spent a lovely week in Brandon Mountajn cottage. Being so close to the beach was brilliant and such a gorgeous quiet beach too! Our host was super helpful and the house was clean and comfortable.

Brandon Mountain Cottage is a gem. Perfect location, cosy, spacious, spotlessly clean with a big garden and amazing views. Linda, the host was extremely kind, very friendly and helpful. She has gone to great lengths to ensure the cottage has everything one could ask for and all the information on the area you would ever need. Very highly recommended.

I would like to keep this place a secret for myself but that wouldn't be fair on the friendly owner Linda.Everything is provided in the cosy well kept house in a stunning location. It is a perfect location for those wanting to take it easy with beautiful walks in the surrounding area. The nearby beaches are stunning no matter the weather.

My husband, our three children(ages 8, 6 and 2), my father (age 78) and myself spent a wonderful week in Brandon Mountain Cottage. We whiled away many happy hours exploring rock pools, building sandcastles and seal spotting on Cloughane beach which is a mere 5 minute walk from the house. When we arrived at the house, there were eggs, brown bread and jam waiting for us after our long journey. The house had everything that we could possibly have needed-good Wifi, lots of towels,an extra fold out bed, a cot, highchair and lots of DVDs, books and board games to suit everyone. It is ideally located. We drove along Conor's Pass ( Stunning!!) to visit the Aquarium and Fungi in Dingle. We spent a lovely afternoon at Sandy Feet Farm close to Tralee and my husband and eldest child spent a lovely morning at Jamie Knox's Waterschool. The locals are very friendly and mad for the chats!!! My husband enjoyed the pints of Guinness in O' Connors of Cloughane and Murphy's Bar in Brandon. We enjoyed lovely food from Mullally's and Murphy's of Brandon and O' Connor's of Cloughane. The local shop/bakery provides lovely coffee and freshly baked treats. It's also well stocked up with everything you could need. All in all we really enjoyed our stay in this homely, spotlessly clean house and we hope to return to holiday here again soon.

Great house in a great location between Tralee and Dingle. There is a lovely stove in the living room with plenty of turf and wood for the cooler evenings. Beds are very comfortable and the fenced in garden was great for the kids who also enjoyed the Aquapark in the Maharees and the Aquarium in Dingle. This house is a short walk from a quiet beach with plenty of rock pools for the kids to explore. There are good restaurants nearby but Murphys in Brandon is a must for a pint!

Great house in a beautiful location. Stepping out of the front door you have a view of the 12 mile beach to your left and dramatic high mountains on your right. This is before you have left the property. Very handy to shop and pub in the village. 20 min drive to Dingle over the dramatic Connor Pass. Can't wait for next year as we have booked again.
