New to the market. A piece of heaven on the side of a hill with views to die for. Two bedrooms with beds for 7 people. As well as a cot bed and two extra double air-mattresses, both on request if a larger group. Only up the hill from both Baltimore and the famous Lough Hyne Nature Reserve a beautiful walk away . A short boat trip to both Cape Clear and Sherkin Islands. A great base for seeing all West Cork on both land and sea. Everyone comes back. :)...New to the market. Our rules are simple. You must have the best time ever and not want to leave and we will help you achieve this goal.
Guests are free to smoke outside where sand ashtray is provided.
Pets have a hall of their own and are not allowed on furniture or beds.
Pets are the responsibility of their owners and should not be left alone in the house as it is open plan and may lead to unwanted damage.

Perfect ending to a 12 day visit to Ireland. Lots of room for the four of us, great kitchen, great views. Richard supplied us with ideas for exploring the area and their three dogs gave us some much missed animal attention. You can even walk...More

The Cedar Boathouse was the perfect escape for a family holiday (2 adults and our 2 dogs!) with everything to make it a home away from home. The setting was breathtaking, with views over Baltimore and Sherkin Island.

It's easy to be a good host when you have three perfect and fun guests. :) x
Richard and Yvonne were great hosts, the boat house is very comfortable (almost too comfortable!) and we really enjoyed our stay. Best night sleep in a long time. Great rustic feel to the accommodation as well. Pet friendly as well for our assistance dog
Cedar Boathouse was where we decided to go after getting married in Kerry. It is a very peaceful cabin with a log fire and it was the perfect way to relax. The views and sunsets from the house were great to look out on while...More
We enjoyed 3 fantastic days/nights at Yvonne and Richard's Cedar Boathouse. We received the warmest of welcomes - including a lit fire! - and the house was thoughtfully set up for our little family (cot, stair gates, toys, minimal items within reach of small hands)....More

That's so so sweet of you guys. It was our pleasure. You have a lovely little family. :)
On the top of the hill overlooking Baltimore and the Islands on one side and the Wild Atlantic on the other. The post man passes the gat everyday at 2.15. And that's the only sound you hear besides the sea or the birds or the donkey down the road. :)
You'll need a car for most of Ireland but around here a lot of the fun can be had in the water. Either take a ferry or a whale trip or a kayake and go have fun. Or hike your way around the cliffs and valleys of West Cork.
