This comfortable and spacious detached family holiday home is on a private site with large gardens. It is a well equipped bungalow, with open fire and wood burner. It is close to local amenities, a 5mins drive from Buncrana. Buncrana itself is a seaside town with lovely restaurants and bars. There is a children’s play area at the shore front next to the beach. There are many seaside walks and also Swans Park river side walk. It is a great base for exploring the Wild Atlantic Coast of Donegal and a few mins drive to local beautiful beaches. We spent a few days at the house and I must say it was beautiful. We felt really comfortable and the location is so handy to the town and alot of the sightseeing we went to visit. We will definitely book this house again. The owner Mary is very helpful and understanding. The welcome pack we received was very thoughtful and much needed after a long journey. I would highly recommend booking this house.

We really enjoyed our 4 night stay in this very comfortable house. We loved the large and well equipped kitchen which was so cosy. The rooms are bright with lots of storage space and comfortable beds. It was great to have two bathrooms as a family of four. There is also a large garden which would have been great if the sun was shining :-). We were also well looked after by the owner and absolutely recommend the house. Although it is on a road, it is very quiet, especially at night. Thank you for a lovely and very pleasant stay!

What a lovely family home this is. I went with my husband, 2 young children and dog and we all had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Good size rooms and great space outside for dog to run around the garden. Mary was very accommodating and kept us up to date on directions and all instructions for managing the house. Great location to Buncrana town, we will would definitely recommend.

We had a very relaxing time once we found this cosy, pet friendly house. House is easy to heat and there is great supply of hot water. Welcoming starter pack. Everything we needed for cooking. Beds very comfortable. Great situation. Very quiet with large garden but close to town and the lovely walks along the front. Good for visiting the rest of Inishowen. Doreen

Myself and five others stayed at Ard an Dun for five nights for a reunion and the property was perfect. House was very clean and there was a nice welcome pack on the table for us. Very good location too, 30 minutes to Mizen head, 20 minutes to Derry City and we used the Inishowen ferry to cross over for Fanad & Errigal. If you are looking for a place to stay in Buncrana, look no further.

The second time we have stayed at ard an dun for our family holiday and it wont stay at that. Absolutely love it, perfect location, so close to the town, beaches. Lawn on the front is great for the children to mess about on. Great sized house, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Wouldnt want to stay anywhere else when we come to ireland. It has a very homely and warm feel to it. Cannot recommend it enough. Thank you mary
