Our Annexe is Ideally placed for access into York or visits to the Dales, Moors, North Yorkshire's beautiful coast line, including Whitby , Scarborough, Filey or Bridlington.
This annexe is suitable for couples, singles, walkers, cyclists, looking for that special break. The large windows over look countyside and there is a beautiful garden enhanced with an abundance of trees and shrubs. The annexe has a fully fitted well equipped kitchen. This beautiful village has come in the top ten places to live in the country.

2017 Dunnington won 'The Yorkshire in Bloom' Gold award.(small town category).

Within the village is a supermarket, post office, Doctors surgery, vets surgery, hairdressers, florists, library and Dentist. There is a C of E Church and. Methodist Church. The Cross Keys pub serves good food and ale along with the sports club. There is also a fish and chip shop.

Hassacar Pond nature reserve is within walking distance and a haven of wild life. Hagg wood particularly in May when the blue bells are out is a must. There are many beautiful walks to follow not just
around Dunnington but York itself.
Getting around
Park and Ride bus service is less than 10 mins away by car and idea to take you into the city centre.
The number 10 to poppleton bus from the village takes you straight into the city centre. It runs about every half hour and hourly later in the evenings. The return bus is number 10 Stamford Bridge, stopping at Dunnington. Time table available in the Annexe.

Directions to Gateway Annexe

Exit A64 at Grimston Roundabout signed posted York, Scarborough, Bridlington and Hull. You are looking for the exit heading towards road 1079 to Hull. In about half a mile you will reach a set of traffic lights and a sign post saying Dunnington. Drive straight through the lights ignoring this sign. In about half a mile you will pass the windmill pub on the left and then a Petrol station. Take the next turning left into Common Road and follow the road passed the Dunnington sports club (on the right). You will come to the village green, take the 1st turning left into Greenside and then the 3rd turning left into Greenside walk. Gateway Annexe is on the left hand side on the bend.
