Cox Hill House is situated 5 miles from the city of Truro. It has a large and enclosed garden safe for children and dogs.

The house has a large, modern, well equipped kitchen. There is a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Plenty of room to dry all your beach gear. There are outdoor hoses if you have surf boards and wetsuits to wash down too or sandy and muddy dogs!

On a clear night go up into the garden and do a spot of stargazing, you won't be disappointed.

The house has 5 bedrooms. 1 double bedroom ensuite, 1 double room, 2 twin bedded rooms upstairs and another twin bedded room downstairs. The downstairs twin can be made into a superking on request; it can also accommodate a 2ft 6in pull out bed.

The upstairs ensuite bathroom can be a shared bathroom. Upstairs there is a separate toilet and basin....

About the neighbourhood
Chacewater village is 5 minutes away by car and offers 2 local stores. In addition there is the old market offering locally sourced produce and regular feast nights. There is a pub, health centre, post office and church.

The Church has holy communion every Sunday at 09:40 and welcomes visitors.
Getting around
The house is close to two main bus routes to Truro and St Ives. Cox Hill House is located in a peaceful, rural location, situated within a world heritage mining site. There are plenty of old engine houses to visit, these are easily accessible via local bridleways and public footpaths right on the doorstep. At the bottom of the lane you can pick up the Bissoe/Devoran to Portreath cycle trail. The house is very central to all tourist attractions. Falmouth is less than 30 minutes away by car, St Agnes is 15 minutes and Newquay is 30 minutes away by car. If you like shopping then Truro is the place for retail therapy.
