Key collection is made available one week prior to guest arrival There is a Tourism office in Terras de Bouro town just by the roundabout on the corner, please go there for information on what local activities and festivals are happening in the area. Geres National Park has lots of activities and a marina for boat trips and watersports The friendly village of Souto has a lovely bar and restaurant within a one minute walk, further restaurants a short distance away. Wonderful walking trails close by in the beautiful mountainous area with spectacular views just by sitting in the lounge or terrace. Comments from previous guests were, they have never felt so relaxed whilst on holiday, a real get away from it all. Local bus stop a few minutes walk away to go to Braga city, however car hire is recommended to explore this truly unspoilt region of North Portugal / Costa Verde. Braga train station has direct trains to St.Bento station in Porto. From here it is a short stroll down to the River Douro waterfront with all the famous Port caves to explore and sample their very own ports, a great day out. Daily fresh bread is delivered at 8am every day, you will hear a car horn to let you know they have arrived. There are also fresh fish, fresh produce and frozen food deliveries through the week at different times. The main supermarket is in Terras de Bouro town called Intermarche, please take a ticket for the car park and have this validated at the check-out as you will need this for the barrier to get out of the car park. A smaller supermarket is close to the Bem Cozinhado restaurant along the main road EN205-3. Please do not smoke inside the house, as there are smoke detectors fitted and this will set of the alarm.
