I had a very enjoyable stay in Beachfront Long Spanish Estate at Pochomil. Many and comfortable rooms and a superb swimming pool. The house is very well designed and is located in the nicest zone of Pochomil. We enjoyed table tennis, cooking facilities. We celebrated my wife's birthday with the whole family at this beautiful home. The reservation process was very smooth, got great tips from the owner about activities and services, even a detailed map, surfing lessons and a cook. Since we arrived, the groundskeeper was friendly and the entire staff was eager to help. The home is very large, our large extended family of 16 fit perfectly in the five bedrooms of the house, ping pong table, the pool, Jacuzzi and the bar were the most popular activities while in the house, and surfing, turtle watching, ATV and the waterfalls our outdoor activities. The cook can prepare an amazing ceviche accompanied with a frozen Margarita, that we could not get enough of. The beach is not crowded at all, so we had complete privacy. The town is only five minutes away and they offer the basics, plus fresh fish and restaurants. The owner warned us about getting our full grocery supply in Managua, which worked out very well. We loved the home, the beach and the service. Certainly a place we would recommend and come back to again and again.

I organized my father's 75th birthday with my brothers and families. We were looking for a large home with lots of space for the children to have fun and the adults to have a relaxing environment. This home was ideal, our teens and younger nephews had lots of places to have fun, ride ATV's on the beach, crab hunting, bonfire and smurfs, ping pong and table games and we had our private space to remember old times. Our parents had one of the best vacations they have ever enjoyed, the home was very convenient for them, lots of reclining chairs, hammocks, open spaces and breeze. The cook was outstanding, preparing great dishes and snacks. We already voted and it is unanimous, we are coming back to this same home next year with our parents, as everything was perfect for what we were looking for.

This is the second time I stay in this home, last time was a couple of years ago with a church group and I promised my family I would bring them for a family vacation. The home is in impeccable condition, some of the amenities have been improved, flat screen TV, high speed internet, additional bar furniture, etc. The same housekeeper and groundskeeper still provide the excellent service we had. The beach is spectacular, although high tide is a bit strong for me, not for my teenage sons who enjoyed it thoroughly surfing and swimming. We were expecting cool weather in December but it was in the 80´s during the day and 70´s at night, a nice change from Missouri. My wife and I tried the Margaritas the cook prepared, along with some traditional plantain and cheese snacks and they were absolutely marvelous. My wife especially enjoyed having a full time cook who also washes the dishes. Kids were busy all the time, at the beach, playing ping pong or facebooking their vacation pictures and making their friends jealous. As usual, Gabriel, the homeowner, was great at providing us with a map, travel tips, arranged surfing lessons, and many travel guides to Granada, Masaya and Leon. He also arranged for very late check in (after midnight) due to flight schedules. Nicaragua is definitely a place to visit, it should be in everyone´s bucket list, as it is wonderful, very inexpensive and people are friendly always! I would definitely recommend this home to any family or groups of friends, it has a lot to offer, its own personality and lots of things to do.

We had a family reunion and rented this home for a group of 24 people. This home and the staff by far exceeded our expectations!!! The layout of the home was perfect and there was plenty of room for our large group of 24. We had two chefs and they were excellent!! The food was absolutely delicious! I will definitely return and have already recommended to other family and friends.

From the initial inquiries until we drove back to the Managua airport, we could not have been more pleased with rental. Gabriel, even in absentia, was such a caring and attentive host and the caretakers on site did just that--they took excellent care of us. The house is so fantastic that even the occasional power and water outages caused us no heartache. The house is better than pictured, believe it or not. The ocean and beach is wonderful and provides opportunities for many swimming and water activities. The pool is also beautiful and refresshing. Our very large party was comfortable and felt completely safe and at home. Thank you for providing us such a wonderful end to a marvelous trip to the beautiful land of Nicaragua!

The house is exactly as advertised in the pictures. It is beautiful, on the beach, with a pool, open floor plan, and lots of space to move around. We paid for the cook and the food was excellent. There was a slight mix-up the first day where it had not been communicated that we had paid for a cook, but the owner resolved this issue by Day 2. We stayed for 7 days and it felt much too short. The house is such a relaxing location with the beach, pool, and hammocks. Then there are amazing things to do in the cities (which is quite a drive from the house). I would recommend getting the cook because the food was amazing. We also went to a little restaurant down the beach where we had the best ceviche and lobster I've ever eaten (although it took hours). I would definitely visit again, but need a longer visit on the next trip!

I brought a group of 22 teens and adults to Nicaragua to do social work in some poor communities, and we decided to spend the last two days relaxing at the beach. At first I was hesitant to rent this house, although it was the largest in the rental market, but it is advertized for 14 people. But after realizing that we were coming from more modest accommodations in Granada while doing social work, I figured that teens could put up with some level of discomfort. I WAS WRONG, the house is HUGE!!! Everyone slept in a bed, including a sofa bed in the living room and nobody complained. The teens quickly took some surfing lessons offered though the owner of the house and spent most of the day surfing and later in the evening at a campfire on the beach, playing ping pong and crab hunting. The adults enjoyed the pool, the view and the hammocks while strolling on the beach and an occasional dip in the ocean. At the end I had a large number of complaints from the group, that we should have stayed at this house and travel to Granada to do the social work daily and enjoy the beach at night since it is only 1 hour from Managua or Granada. Please reserve this house for November when I am coming with another group, and now that the word is spreading, we are staying the whole week!!!! Thanks to the staff Jose and Otilia for being so helpful and cooking great meals for us.

I knew I found the right place when I got an almost immediate response from my initial reservation. After talking with the owner, who gave me a lot of tips on the area and the country. I got pictures and video of the property and when we arrived in Nicaragua, a car and driver were waiting for us. He took us directly to the home and it was exactly as the video showed it. The housekeeper and the gardener were very helpful, the home was humongous, full of details, large pool, sand box for kids, hammocks, and a gorgeous view of the ocean at all times. It was great to go to bed and waking up hearing the waves. Our kids had a blast, we never felt them, they always had some activities going on, ping pong, soccer, swimming, or playing cards. We were with them but we felt we were on vacation from them as they never needed us. What a relief!!! This was a great vacation, highly recommended for everyone.

My family and a friend's family spent a wonderful week in Nicaragua, and we were amazed at the beauty of this country and the people. When we arrived at this beach house, I was impressed by the large living areas of the house and great design. Our family spent one of our most memorable vacations. The feeling of being in front of the ocean, nobody to bother you at the beach, being with nature as it was originally made, not artificial. This was outstanding. Otilia and Pepe, the housekeepers were outstanding and friendly, and taught our kids many Spanish words. We go back with a collection of shells, lots of pictures and a broken heart. We will return!
