Cobblers Cottage is a beautiful stone built cottage/bungalow, part of which dates back to the 1700's. Formally a barn then used as a Chip Shop, before becoming home to the Village Cobbler John Walker in 1949. Cobblers Cottage has been lovingly upgraded & furnished to a very high standard in 2013/14. The cottage sits in the centre of the beautiful quiet village of Birchover, making it ideally located for exploring the stunning scenery of the lovely Peak District National Park. Birchover has two pubs, The Red Lion (now with its micro- brewery and Homemade Cheeses) & The Druids Inn both serving excellent award winning food & both being Child & Dog friendly.

We had a delightful stay, seemingly everything you could need/want and more! Nicely laid out and no thought necessary when looking for things as all clearlt labelled. Home away from home.

What a wonderful cottage the decor and all the extras fantastic The owners have taken real care in the amenities and have thought of everything Would highly recommend this cottage as we have stayed in various cottages in the past

Spotless, all possible devices available, even a few walks in pre-prepared rain-proof folders with directions from the front door waiting for you. Prompt and accurate communications from Charlotte (owner) re booking. Quite happy to recommend. David
