Little Kitchen (Fridge and Freezer, Microwave, Dishies machine, hob and Vitroceramics). Living room view and sea view from the kitchen. Modern kitchen decoration (Cream and Blue), and full equipped.
Privileged place for those who love nature. From Arrábida to Cabo Espichel, the mountain green perfectly entwines with the blue of the sea, creating the most unique landscapes. Excellent areas for hiking, flora & fauna watching, sport and even for the practice of extreme sports
Perfect conditions for the practice of sports such as sailing, diving, big game sport fishing and, most recently, canoeing, surf, windsurf, and skimboard. Cabo Espichel acts as a protection to Sesimbra's sea, thus offering sailors calm waters. For those who prefer rowing, canoeing can be the perfect option. Windsurf and kitesurf, that demand favorable winds and calm waters. The mild climate, in conjunction with a calm sea, translucent waters, diversity in the marine flora and fauna, and the wrecks of sunken ships off the coast transform the bottom of the Sesimbra Sea into the perfect scenery for diving.
We stayed here in September and absolutely loved it. The views were incredible from every room and we never tired of looking at them. The awesome beach is 5 minutes walk away and same with restaurants. The old part of the village is a little further say 10 minutes and is absolutely delightful.
The apartment needs some minor maintenance, ie showerhead kept dropping, loose plug fittings, kettle didn't work, pot handle loose and lid was broken.
Overall though it was as clean and tidy as could be, showing its age a bit, but value for money and Pedro and Deborah were lovely to deal with.

A lovely place.
Super location- near to the Beach. A wonderful wiew of the Beach and the city.
Everything is perfekt. We vill visit again.

Apartment with at view for short stays
We - a family of two adults and two children - stayed in the apartment for nine days in July 2017. We booked through Home away where the host doesn't permit reviews. Firstly, the view and the location of the apartment is absolutely fantastic! The direct access to the beach is very convenient and Pedro the host is very nice and helpful.
But to be perfectly honest, we expected more from the apartment in terms of standard for the price. The apartment has not had a good clean in a long time. There was actually spiders web in the window of the living room! The waste basket was sticky and icky. The kitchen is tiny and smells and does not invite to cooking. Some of the equipment is broken (for example a two-handle pan lost a handle).
The bathroom could use some modernization and some practical remodeling like hooks to hang towels that actually works. The beds are the most simple kind and the dining table is actually an garden table that is broken.
Overall, we had a nice vacation in Sesimbra but I wouldn't recommend the apartment for stays longer than 3 or 4 days.
