Vilamoura has it all: excellent sports facilities, a long sandy beach, dining, shopping and certain sophistication, too. Specially built to appeal to the holiday-maker, its centre piece is a magnificent marina, complete with a buzzing water front of chic cafés, bars, boutiques and restaurants. There are two main beaches Marina and Falésia. Both have lovely golden sands but the later has better facilities, including snack bars, sunbeds and sun umbrellas. The night-life is lively, cosmopolitan and varied gathering around a good selection of places to eat and drink complimented by a casino. How to get to the apartment: Flights to Faro: Most budget airlines fly to Faro consider Liverpool & Coventry (both small easily accessible airports) Jet2 & Easyjet sky scanner - flight line - travel republic - travel supermarket car hire - economy car hire (insure extra drivers @ no extra cost, fully insured & vehicle can usually be collected from the airport car park or down town Vilamoura if you prefer not to drive from the airport). Local taxis or pre -booked local transfer from Faro Airport to Vilamoura. The apartment is a 30 min easy drive from Faro Airport along the N125, to Vilamoura, full/detailed directions provided!
