Wonderful
We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was very cosy, comfortable and had everything we needed. Loved the retro decor and the record collection was very good. We even brought a few of our own. Great views and location for walks. Thanks and we hope to return.

Hoem from home
Walked in and the place was sparkling. Wonderful comfy retro lounge area and super comfy bed.In the morning I had tea with my girlfried and our poodle and watched the birds and took in the clean air. If you want a great self catering break, with everything you need to hand, a wonderful view and star gazing at night, this is the place for you. Hosts were amazing, from directions to wine on arrival. Definately coming again

Beautiful views, Lovely cabin
This cabin was in the perfect location with amazing views out the front porch and with a lovely interior for us to relax and play some board games. We may have forgot to bring bedding to the cabin but the local supermarket was only 20 minutes away. With so much to do around the area we will be back! Also we got engaged at the lake around the corner on our last night. beautiful place for us and the dogs.

Wonderful stay!
We stayed at this cabin for 3 nights and we absolutely loved it. We were a group of 6 people and we had enough space. The cabin has everything that you need and it also has amazing views. I would really recommend this place if you want to disconnect and enjoy a bit of tranquility.

Where do I start?
Wow. You pull up, completely ignore the cabin as you can't stop looking at the mountains. Eventually you tear yourself away and go in. Immediately impressed by the bottle of wine (not a cheap one either), and the chocolates for the kids, then the kids fly up the bunkbed and you spend an hour getting them down, again and again and again. Finally, you spot the board games that are all over the cabin, which distracts the kids long enough to get unpacked. I say get unpacked, but really the Mrs did this as I was too busy going through the vinyl collection and educating the family on Nina Simone and Screamadelica. With the location, in just one day we managed to visit Barmouth beach, Portmeirion and still had time to take the kids trick or treating around the holiday village, which a lot of visitors had got into and decorated their cabins. One of the nights, the temperature dropped to under 5 degrees, but the cabin kept it's heat throughout the stay and the heaters we brought with us never made it out of the car. Everything we needed was in the cabin, and I can't think of anything we needed to go out and buy. Deborah's comms were brilliant throughout the booking, during the stay and even afterwards, if this isn't completely booked out for the next 20 years (which it should be at that quality and price) I will be back again.

Lovely cosy cabin.
Great, well equipped cabin. Lovely views and in a quiet spot on the site. Easy parking. Huge dvd collection and records for entertainment if weather abit rubbish or of an evening. Good location for mountain bike trails ( no storage for bikes but could be locked on terrace or cars no problems ) 20ish minute drive to bigger town with 3 large supermarkets. Owners easy to contact for any info and left a nice note with any instructions we needed, lots of blankets and heaters provided if needed.

Perfect rural stay, views to die for!
The cabin was cosy and unique. Everything in the cabin was clearly and thoughtfully placed. I loved the fact that it felt lived in and not a bare shell, there was coffee, tea, washing stuff, ketchup, etc. Another lovely touch was the bottle of wine that Deborah left for us. The record player and games gave a great retro feel. Watching young adults trying to use a record player was highly amusing. We were a family of 5 adults, which I would say would be the limit. We took our own towels and sheets which kept down the price. The shower was electric with strong pressure. The cabin was clean and very homely. My only concern with the bedrooms was that there wasn’t really anywhere to put bags, clothes etc, but for a few days this didn’t really matter. We loved the balcony to watch the changing views of the hills, changing weather and, of course, the skies at night. There is no light pollution so you can see stars and the Milky Way for miles. We visited Snowdon, Portmeirion, Porthmadog, all within an hours drive through lovely countryside and villages. It would have been nice if the pub at the top of the resort had still been operational, but it had recently burnt down, so we did have to travel 5/10 minutes to the nearest pub. Good food from the Bryn Arms and Oakley Arms. A lovely 4 night stay!

Fabulous
We just spent the weekend in this cabin in Wales and what a treat. It was clean and cosy with breathtaking views. We loved the retro vinyls and record player and the vintage telephones. The home had lots of essentials that you always forget and the kids loved the vast amount of DVD’s and family board games. You couldn’t get bored here. The fish and chip van and gourmet burger van visits to the site spiced up the choices for dinner. The beers left by Deborah went down a treat on the decking watching the sun set. It is just such a peaceful place to stay. We climbed snowdon which was a short hours drive away and visited the portmadog beach 30 mins away. The buckets and spades from the cabin definitely came in handy here. Will definitely come again. 😁😁
