My sister, Nicky, who lives close by will meet and greet you and be on hand in case you need any help with anything. Inside the apartment we have put together a collection of favourite restaurants and things to see and do in the local area. Once the reservation has been made you will be given telephone numbers and an email to contact my sister at any time.

About the neighbourhood
Andalusia is a beautiful area, speckled with white washed villages such as Marbella old town, Mijas, Gaucín and Casares. At the backdrop of Marbella and Estepona are the Sierra de Ronda mountain range which give a unique micro climate to the local area. My husband, Phil is an artist and he fell in love with the region and the white washed villages when visiting. Casares is slightly inland from the coast and offers some great country walks and breath-taking views, as well as some excellent restaurants. Ronda is only a 45 minute drive. Built on an aqueduct it's an old town steeped in history. Ronda is most famous for its wines. To explore Ronda we recommend you hire bikes before you have lunch and finish the day with a wine tour.
Getting around
Although the beach, shops and a selection of restaurants and sports facilities are close by we highly recommend you hire a car. Car hire is generally well priced in Spain and so is petrol. And this way you will be able to explore the diverse countryside from sand dunes in Tarifa to the Sierra de Ronda (close mountain range) and also visit the historical city of Malaga. Alternatively there is a very good bus service that takes you to Marbella or Estepona. The bus stop is in front of the Pharmacy, just off the A7.
How to get there
The apartment is about 45 mintues drive from Malaga airport. You will need to take the Bel Air turn off from the A7 dual carriageway, just after San Pedro de Alcantara. Once we receive your booking we will send you detailed directions of how to get to the apartment.
