We stayed here in July - had the best holiday ever- accommodation was excellent - fantastic pool and hot tub - owners Tania and Steve go above and beyond in what they provide here - really lovely people - who have 2 lovely dogs that our children adored - we made great use of the information pack lots to see and do - we will be visiting again.

Perfect accommodation, hosts and location
We loved our time here, loads to see and do close by and a very comfortable base to relax in with everything you might need. The kitchen is so well equipped it was easy to cook a meal. Great shower, comfy beds, satellite TV, lovely outside spaces, parking, beautiful swimming pool, even beach/pool towels provided. We were grateful for the welcome pack which meant we didn't need to rush out to the supermarket. Ansiao is a lovely small town only a few minutes drive away with supermarkets, fuel, cafes, bars etc. A very non touristy area, it is very cheap to eat out and very good quality. Tania and Steve are great hosts - close by if needed whilst giving you privacy. There is a really useful info pack in the rental containing lots of tips and ideas for days out. Perfectly located to visit historic towns, the coast, rivers, local beauty spots, go for walks and a very easy drive from Lisbon on empty roads. Would recommend to anyone looking for accommodation in this area.

Lovely Location and friendly, helpful hosts.
Situated in a rural olive grove but with easy access to major roads. The Estrella mountains and the coast are within easy reach by car. The town of Ansiao easily caters for your needs at the accommodation. This area shows true Portugal at its best.

Absolutely Brilliant
Myself my partner, daughter and mother in law stayed at Case Da Olival it was fabulous. Very clean and comfortable Tania and Steve are great they can guide you and answer anything you may need to know.
They know the best places to eat and will also Phone to book a table for you if required.
The pool is great our 8 year old daughter learned to swim during our stay which in itself would have been worth it.
We travelled to Tomar, Fatima, Aviero, Castelo Branco, Pombal, Leira, Nazare and Fig Foz to name a few.
All in all this is a Beautiful Relaxing Villa in a beautiful area of Central Portugal with very pleasant hosts on site if needed.
A must for any who are considering this booking.

Ruhe und Erholung
Schönes Ferienhaus in ruhiger Lage. Wurden freundlich empfangen, sogar in deutsch und
die Vermieterin füllte den Kühlschrank auf, weil Sonntag war. Gepflegter großer Pool im Garten. Die Inneneinrichtung sehr nett, es fehlt an nichts. Können wir gern weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank nochmals. Michael und Elke

Wonderful welcome, very comfortable accommodation and peaceful location, perfect for a restful holiday
Set amid olive trees and Portuguese oaks about 10 minutes drive from the small rown of Ansiao where you will find everything for your daily needs, Casa de Olival has virtually everything for a peaceful vacation for two or an energetic family holiday. We were greeted first by Eddie a very friendly dog followed hot on his heels by owner Tania, whose thoughtfulness and generosity are boundless. The welcome pack includes more than enough for your first breakfast and a bottle of wine cooling to greet you on arrival not to mention the 'accompaniments'. Towels are provided for the pool shared with the owners and local river beaches as well as regular bath towels. Tania provides excellent directions as to how to reach the casa as well as having a well-documented information file on everything within a wide radius.

Easter break
Great place to stay for a family.this was my second time here and 3rd booked in october . Steve and tania are perfect host couldn't do enough for you the settings for the casa are perfect not to far from all the main routes to the high ways . I would highly recommend to stay here if on your own or with the family . The rooms are very cosy with a log burner for those early or late months of the year . Would go back in august but unfortunately it was booked . See you soon guys .

Perfect
A lovely property surrounded by pines, eucalypts and small hamlets. Very clean and comfortable house, excellent Internet and close to Ansiao for shopping, good coffee and pastries.The swimming pool is pristine, and the two resident small dogs are lovely.
Tania was very helpful with organising our rental car and collecting it in Ansaio...much appreciated! It was an easy drive to exceptional sites such as Conimbraga and the hidden gems in Santiago da Guard castle and Roman house. The river "beaches" are beautiful, and driving easy on the very quiet roads.

Set in 1 acre of Olive grove, very peaceful with good walks in the immediate area.
Located in a small Hamlet in beautiful Central Portugal. 2Km outside the market Town of Ansiao.
Surrounded by tranquil Pine and Eucalyptus woods ideal for nature walks and Bird watching. Peaceful and relaxing for the perfect Holiday yet minutes away from all the amenities that the Market Town of Ansião has to offer.
40 kms to nearest beach on the Silvercoast - or beautiful river beaches closer to home for you to discover.
Ansiao and the area has plenty of Festas in the summer with a good choice of bars and restaurants.
We also provide an Information book with recommendations for local restaurants and Bars for you to visit.
The university Town of Coimbra is 30 minutes drive with good shopping and a beautiful City to explore on the river.
You also have historic Tomar, Coninbriga and Dornes to explore to name just a few sites. Stunning scenary where-ever you go .
Car is highly recommended for getting about.
You also have the Roman ruins at Conimbriga

Located between Lisbon and Porto - with good motorway connections - we suggest the A1 from both destinations. Come off at Junction 10 for Pombal - then follow the IC8 till you get to Ansiao / Sarzedela exit. Turn left to Sarzedela the 3rd exit at the roundabout to Santiago de Guarda. Follow this road and take the left hand turning to Pinheiro. Again, follow this till you see a house with green gates, turn left then immediate right done the lane. We are 100 metres on the right
