It depends what you are after.

If I had any other options, I would not have stayed here. I just felt a bit icky. On arrival there are metal fences all over the parking/driveway area and old bits of garden laying about. It looks tired and uncared for. Inside is the...More

Disappointing stay

Third time of staying here, very let down on this stay, lodge was in unclean state with blocked drain, lacking in the basics. Outside is a mess.

Pleasant place to stay

Lovely and clean. Bed very comfortable. It did state hair drier but it was missing. There was an iron but no board. Although it says for six, there are only 4 chairs and 4 of everything. Shower control switch on the ceiling outside the bathroom....More

Great stay if bit wet

About the neighbourhood
Also of interest is the Isle of Wight Steam Railway with its Station and connections to Havenstreet. The Butterfly and Fountain World which is part of Medina Garden Centre is situated just outside the village. For the walkers and ramblers there are many walks both within and around the village, including our own Heritage Trail. Also of interest is Firestone Copse with picnic sites and walks, with views across the Millpond. Quarr Abbey, Osborne House and St. Mildred's Church, Whippingham are nearby.
