Due to the location and neighbouring a second holiday cottage, we do not encourage. large parties. We encourage guests to enjoy the peaceful rural setting and be mindful of other guests staying close by. It Is an ideal place to hideaway, relax and unwind away from the hustle and bustle of city life. We allow well behaved dogs - sorry no untrained pets or puppies!

Interaction with guests
A gem of a hideaway very easy to access from M4 motorway but hidden away in a beautiful valley. Central for access to beaches, castles, mountains and on the doorstep of the National Botanical Garden of Wales. You will feel comfortable and well looked after in spacious cottages that have been tastefully and beautifully renovated. The cottages have soul, the owners have spent many hours ensuring the places feel unique and cater well for guests wanting time away from the hustle and bustle of life.

Wonderful place with great view onto the field. Really quiet and fantastic outdoor space as well. We were there during the heat wave but the cottage stayed cool and Lois was very helpful with local tips!

This is a perfectly located cottage for a short break in Wales - 45mins from the Gower and Pembrokeshire coast and less than half an hour from the Brecon Beacons. The beaches in the area were incredible. But it was nice to mix beach hike up with mountain walks. Lois and Jonathan have brought this cottage to life with their own hands! The wooden beams and stone work give the place a cosy feel. The flowers, plants and personal books make the place feel like a real home. My favourite space is the kitchen - gorgeous antique wooden table for the family to cosy up around. The kitchen has all you’d need to make a range of family meals. But importantly has a dishwasher so you can clean everything up after a hard day of walking! Its a working farm so you walk up to the sound of sheep and birds. I been three times to stay at this set of cottages - the real appeal is how personal and welcomed the hosts make you feel - including their array of animals (Timber and Biscuit the Cats and Becca the Dog!). Can’t wait for my next trip.

I stayed in the cottage with my son, some friends and our husky dog! We had the perfect stay. The cottage is cosy, clean and characterful. Lois even cooked us some hot meals we'd pre ordered that were delicious and welcome after our long journey there. We enjoyed exploring the many local walks as well as enjoying the fire pit in the evenings outside the cottage. There are also beaches a short drive away and many local attractions like castles, lake walks and local cafes with fresh produce. Lois communicated well and went above and beyond as a host. We are already looking forward to our next stay.

Luxurious bed linen , loved them so much , that I peeked at the labels, found where to purchase the same sheets and then brought a set for myself. So cosy and comfortable with lots of homely touches, rugs, beautiful potted plants, art work, board games and many interesting books to browse through . Really wonderful .
