You can relax in the garden under the fig trees, (fruit in July and September mostly) Close to the huge Gran Sasso National parc. Approx 40 min by car to get to the Adriatic. <BR>In the village you find two foodshops, a pharmacy, two cafés.<BR><BR>This is the perfect spot for a romantic getaway, or someone who wants to experience the real Italy. <BR>The small family that wants something else than an mall... Shop at the bakery, the grocers, the butchers, the fruitshop!<BR><BR>

About the neighbourhood
Italy for real, vinyards, olive groves, hills and valleys. Right between beautiful beaches on the Adriatic coast and the montains of Gran Sasso national park. Lots of small ancient villages to explore. Summer is not too hot, because the mountain wind towards the sea. Every Thursday is market day in Scafa, one of the biggest in the region.

From Pescara appr 30 miles motorway towards Rome, exit Alanno-Scafa follow signs to Alanno.<BR>Also airport in Ancona, 1 and a half hour north along the cost.<BR>Also good connections to Rome, 115 miles motorway towards Pescara, exit Alanno-Scafa. <BR>From motorway exit appr 5 miles
