Located at a beautiful and tranquil area at the outskirts of Sitia town is surounded by olive trees and a colourful garden at the front, only 500m from the sea and 20 min. walk to the town centre & shops. An independent and cosy space on the ground floor part of a 2 floors building it benefits the peaceful and quite atmosphere of Cretan countryside with the town centre and Sitia sandy beach at really close distance. The owners are artists with long experience in being guests themselves. The owners are artists with long experience in being guests themselves. Having lived in UK for 2 decades and been working in the world of arts as dancers/dance teachers/arts & cultural manager, travelling to different parts of the world, meeting and interacting with people from all walks of life and being hosted at people's houses numerous times we decided to make this magestic place of the world called Crete our basis from where we could still continue teaching dance and performing. The area where the house is located consists an ideal environment for indulging yourselves whatever the nature, purpose and company of your holiday are. It is ideal for quite holidays near the beach, cultural adventure, for enjoying a romantic walk at the marina or a noisy night out at the restaurants/bars, getting away from routine, spending quality family time, exploring and moving around or just staying in relaxing and enjoying the calmness of the olive trees. The space, guests will have the entire independent groundfloor, is ideal for couples and also specially set up for accommodating families with children of all ages since it is spacious, modern and bright with a big veranda outside of the living/dinning space and a balcony outside of the second bedroom both surrounded by the olive trees of the plot where the children can play while adults are relaxing. The main bedroom looks at the front mature garden with its own balcony receiving the morning light. The kitchen, living room and dinning room are all open plan and there is a big enough air-condition to also cover the rest of the rooms. Due to its position the whole house benefits from cooler temperature indoors which is very welcomed especially during summer season. Additionally, there are standing fans available for the guests should they need them. All windows and doors have mosquitoes net. Additionally, the sofa-bed in the living room can very easily become a twin bed and both parts have bed mattresses suitable for sleeping. The property has all necessary equipment for comfortable and longer holidays. -filter coffee machine - oven/stoves and all cooking/dinning equipment - sandwich toaster - iron & ironing board - fridge/freezer - washing machine + laundry drying rack - TV - wifi For the families with baby or toodller we provide a travelling cot with extra mattress and all necessary linens. There are also various accessories available for guests travelling with children to use such as potty, childres step stool, toddler bed protection bars, toys etc. We cannot imagine our lives without travelling, esploring cultures, meeting people and sharing experiences. For us being a host means much more than giving the keys of our space even more beacuse being guests ourselves has been significant part of our life. Our aim is to make our guests feel welcomed, comfortable and relaxed so that they can be trully lost and mesmerized by the beauty and magic of this little hidden paradise, Sitia in Crete.
