There is simply nothing like it in Australia! Come with an adventurous spirit and you won't be disappointed. Monty’s Hideaway Apartment comprises a luxurious queen-bedded bedroom/lounge with a retractable roof over your bed (with a rain sensor!). There is a spacious shower room with a lifting roof so you can shower in the morning sun. About the neighbourhood

Central in easy walking distance to many good restaurants, Salamanca and other attractions in Hobart Tasmania. This focal point of 19th century Hobart was built in the 1830s and is set in about an acre of gardens on one of Hobart's most attractive tree-lined streets on the edge of Battery Point - just at the end of our street. And unlike Battery Point/other central areas, we have free parking outside!

Getting around

The airport shuttle passes our door. Very pleasant walking area, close to all that matters in Hobart. Plentiful taxis minutes away.
