Dorene was very helpful and Judy was a great cook....
Dorene was very helpful and Judy was a great cook. Beach was calm some days and had waves other days... a nice mix. We basically had the whole property to ourselves during the week, and then on weekends it picked up some. Overall highly recommend.

Condo was just as pictured and the shallow water and Sandy beach was fantastic! Was woke up a couple mornings by construction work from a unit above us but other than that great stay and I would return!

A perfect place for total peace and relaxation in family friendly environment
We spent 12 days in the apartment and we really loved it. The apartment is brand new, well maintained and well equipped for 4 to 5 persons comfortably. Judy, the cleaner, also shows up every day to clean up and actually cook for us. She would buy fresh fish and shrimps, we would reimburse her and we would eat lovely fresh food everyday!.
The overall premises are wonderful. There is a large and beautiful swimming pool, and from there you are only steps away from the beach so we would jump in the pool and then dive in the ocean.
The environment is very international and family friendly. My kid made friends with other kids from the US, Spain and the DR and is actually still in contact.
Finally, the overall area is really nice, with tons of activities to do when you go for several days.

Thanksgiving in paradise
If you are looking for a perfectly relaxing holiday in a gorgeous and stylish setting, look no further. Dorene’s apartment in Coson Bay has everything you need to recharge. We were three friends visiting from New York City over the Thanksgiving week. This was our first trip both to the Dominical Republic and Las Terrenas, and we were not disappointed. What a gorgeous part of the country this is! Dorene’s apartment is conveniently located both from the main airport as well as from the beautiful town of Las Terrenas and other gems the Samana peninsula has to offer. The apartment is super clean, new, functional and very stylish. We loved the view from the balcony and the fact that the beach is literally just downstairs. Such luxury! But really, we spent most of our time by the beach because it is stunning, clean and quiet, with the most picture-perfect coconut trees leaning over the waterfront. You can walk along the beach all the way to the near by town for a meal or just to stretch your legs. The resort itself is quiet, and just perfect for a relaxing holiday setting. The staff is friendly, and the restaurant has good food. Although, we preferred Judy’s mouth-watering cooking both for breakfast and lunch... We loved how she completely spoiled us! Communication with Dorene was very easy, and we really appreciated the practical advice she sent us regarding car rentals, the drive from the airport to Coson Bay, and things to see and do in the area. We will definitely be back!
