You’ll love this place because of the location - it's just a 10 minute stroll along the lake to the town centre & beaches. Cafe's/restaurants, fishing, swimming & boating facilities are directly across the road. Golf courses, tennis courts, movie theatres, major shopping centres and malls are all 10 min drive. About the neighbourhood
Once you park the car inside the security complex you can leave it behind as everything is within walking distance. The local shops are just a short walk away, where you will find some great cafes and restaurants. Directly across the road you will also find some lovely cafes that are built over the water. Beautiful Wallis Lake is right across the road, with some great fishing. You can fish from the shore or if you have your own boat there are two boat ramps 150m away. Alternatively you can hire a boat, canoe or kayak from one of the two boat hire places which are within walking distance from the apartment. There are plenty of great natural attractions for the whole family to enjoy.such as Booti Booti National Park, Golf etc
Getting around
As the apartment is so central to everything you can get around easily by walking or cycling. If you prefer to drive you will find most things are 5 min away. There is a taxi rank at the end of the street and a bus and coach station too. If you enjoy exploring by car there are some some great tourist drives down to Cape Hawk, Seal Rocks and Booti Booti National Park where you will find some fantastic secluded beaches, bbq and picnic areas, and great 4-WD treks.
