Vacasa is horrible! The rental is a beautiful place and we had high expectations when we walked in, however, things took. horrible turn. None of the bedroom air conditioners worked properly leaving us sweltering in the tropical heat. The mattresses were so hard that we ended up pulling the mattress from the futon and putting it in the bedroom with the best a/c. The shower in the master bathroom only had HOT water so we couldn't take a shower to cool off. We reported the issues immediately to Vacasa and 24 hours later a guy showed up to add freon to the a/c. Turns out the units were shot and need replacing and all the coils were clogged. He also said he couldn't fix the shower and would come back the next day. The next day a different a/c guy came out and said he could not fix the units. He did fix the water but by that time our stay was ruined.
I asked for a full refund for the unused nights and a 50% refund for the two nights we stayed in the house (I thought 50% was generous). Vacasa said they would go against their policy and refund the unused nights but would only give a 15% discount on the unbearable nights we did use.
Horrible customer service on Vaasa's part and horrible upkeep on the house from the owner's part. I'll never stay at a Vacasa managed property again!
