Interaction with guests:Â Upon booking, you would have direct access to my number, do not hesitate to reach me concerning any other assistance you would require prior to checking inn. We do help all the time if we are able to.
The apartment is on an estate and due to its contemporary presentation, in comparison to the other flats , the apartment does stands but once you are over the feeling of disorientation you appreciate how welcoming the other tenants are and how helpful they can be .
The only negative is the flat does not have a calming vista , which you need after the hustle and bustle of Accra , so how nice it would be to be able to sit on the veranda looking at the flora and fauna and if this is what you are after, this apartment is not for you
. If you want the freedom to get know Ghana , apartment living is the way to go .
The apartment is spacious and clean and in an area I would describe as very safe and in close proximity to Independence City etc . There are local shops but for those of us use to Tesco's , there are large supermarkets and international standard restaurants ( just google them Jamrock/Mamma Mia /Sin City) highly recommended close by .
Finally , yes I would stay again but I would be tempted to try elsewhere by the lure of a better view .
The owner was receptive to me highlighting one or two teething problems , nothing major , The bed I slept on was comfortable, the bathroom spacious and it was nice not having to share . The basics for cooking and washing was there .
The veranda needs some reclining chairs , having to sit on the steps ,is not on and was one of the teething problems .
The apartment represents good value for money . Having stayed in East Legon in a villa with a wall, the downside is that you do not get to see anyone , so give me this apartment and Kanda any day , where you are up close and personal with the locals .
Staying in the apartment , I was able to go at my pace and being on holiday that is exactly what you want .
The only thing missing is the scenery
