About the neighbourhood
Apartment is located at the end of a dead end street in a very quiet neighboorhood. Once you are in, you have full privacy with a fantastic view.
There is a secret shortcut path to the forest where you can get connected to hiking route to hilltop Hristos monastery and to the backside of the island. Burgazada is 2,2 square kilometers and yet it hosts a great cultural mosaic. There is the museum of famous Turkish short story writer, Sait Faik Abasıyanık. This beautiful wooden mansion worths a visit and entrance is free. There are monasteries (Greek Ortodox and Austrian Catholic) and the main Aya Yani church, one synagogue, one mosque and one Cemevi This might give you an idea about islanders.
