Neve Tzedek is well known for the fact that it was the first Jewish neighborhood built outside of the wall of the ancient port of Jaffa. This neighborhood is famous for its unique and authentic architecture and is home to many wonderful restaurants and shops. It takes only 5 minutes from the beach and 10 minutes walk for the center of Tel-Aviv. The main street is called Shabazi and there are boutiques, shops, cafes & restaurants dotted around. The Carmel Market is a 7 minute walk away. The main international airport, Ben Gurion, is a 20 minute drive. The closest beach is only an 8-minute walk from the house. There is also the 'Tachana', which is the old train station (from the 20's 30's) renovated recently to shops, boutiques & restaurants. It's a 6 minute walk from the house. GETTING AROUND Everything is within walking distance, The beach is 5 min walk, Old train station is 4 min walk, Restaurants & shops are 1 min walk.
