It always has nice breezes and is 2-3 degrees cooler than the centre of town. (though we are only 5-10mins to town) .There are only 1 other occupied apartment in the block and they work so you have the pool to yourself in those times. Walk to several resorts nearby for restaurants and use of their facilities. Close to transport/town. No real need for a car except if you want to hire one for a day to do the round Island tour.
