Lalapanzi has a four star Tourism Grading Council accreditation and is also a long standing member of the Port Elizabeth Metro Bed And Breakfast Association. (pembba) Self Catering Accommodation is offered in eight stylishly designed and furnished en-suite units all of which are fully equipped for those who prefer to go the self catering route. Guests who require breakfast, are requested to Pre-book at an additional cost of R90 per person. However, breakfasts are not available on Christmas Day or New Year’s day. You can book the breakfast through the booking support (your rentals) or directly at arrival. This combination makes Lalapanzi Guest Lodge a better choice for tourists and holidaymakers who would like to be a bit more private. On the other hand it also serves the corporate client better for whom time is a constraint. Every guest unit has its own private entrance leading off a secure parking area. Lalapanzi Guest Lodge is easily accessed from Port Elizabeth Airport as well as from the N2 and Settlers Freeway. The guest house is very well-positioned insofar as cultural attractions, sports and recreational facilities and educational centers are concerned. It is located 500m from Port Elizabeth's famous Kings Beach, close to major beachfront attractions, restaurants and the Boardwalk Casino and entertainment complex. The airport is only 3.5 km and the Nmm University 5km away. Various types of fishing satisfy all sorts of anglers. Land sports are well-represented with rugby, football, cricket, tennis, bowls, cycling, athletics, squash and many more. Port Elizabeth is an excellent base for mountain biking, quad biking, 4x4 and off-road motorcycling at numerous venues not far from the city. The city also offers numerous scenic walks and bird watching, museums, art galleries, theatres, history and fine examples of Regency architecture. It is also the natural base for expeditions to the world heritage site, the Baviaanskloof Wilderness Area. Jeffrey's Bay and its famous surfing is just a 45 minute drive away. Day trips and tours to these reserves or any other area can be arranged with our own transport. We can also transport guests to other towns and cities if they so desire.
