Last month I had a privilege of being a guest of Ajasrika Ayurveda Center in Nepal, where I booked a 28 day classical Ayurveda Panchakarma treatment.
The center is located in a peaceful hilly area of Kathmandu valley, where air is clean and views on the surrounding mountains undisturbed. Ideally situated in-between Patan, Kathmandu and Bhaktapur, this accommodation is clean, comfortable and well managed.
During the treatment days, I was seen daily by a resident Ayurveda doctor, who checked my progress and if/when needed adjusted therapies accordingly. In addition to fully qualified doctors, the Ajarsika team is comprised of a number of well-trained Ayurveda therapists (female therapists treat women and male therapists treat men).
Besides unforgettable daily massages, I very much enjoyed home cooked Ayurveda meals and yoga lessons. My overall impression is that everybody truly cared about my health and well-being and were willing to go an extra mile...
