The Old farm or 'Gamla Husid' is a lovely refurbished country house that is located at an horse farm. It was built in 1932 but has been restored to a very modern state. The house is located in Ölfus, only 35 km drive from Reykjavik. For exploring the south of Iceland then the house can be a very good base for a few different daytours to the magnificent attractions in the area. Also for those who want to stop for a shorter time and just relax then that is also good way to use the house. In the house there are 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and another with a bunk bed. A sleeping sofa is in the living from that can accommodate 2 persons.
