    Our beautiful barn conversion is available to rent, in a secluded valley in the South Hams, Devon. We are ideally situated to access many of the best beaches in the South Hams, with Salcombe, Bantham, Bigbury, Slapton Sands all within half an hour. Coastal walks and country pubs galore. We are ten minutes from the charming estuary town, Kingsbridge, which provides multiple restaurants and cafes, an artisan bakery, grocers, several butchers, an arts cinema plus many more charming gift and furnishing shops.

    The property consists of a spacious kitchen-diner, with patio doors leading onto a sunny patio, spacious decking area and a secluded south-west facing garden.     This wonderful barn conversion is near Kingsbridge and Modbury, two lovely villages with good restaurants and shops. You can also easily get to local beaches and Dartmoor.     Good location with plenty of places to visit within half hour journey. The home has a lot of character. There was not a lot of storage space for clothing or in the kitchen due to owners personal items.     About the neighbourhood
    Beautiful beaches at Salcombe, Soar Mill, Bantham, Thurlestone, Bigbury, Slapton Sands (all within half an hour's drive). Stunning stretches of coastal walks to explore. For the more sedentary, many fantastic country pubs to relax with good food and drink. Seafood restaurants, for example 'The Oyster Shack' nr Aveton Gifford, or 'The Winking Prawn' at North Sands, Salcombe. The South Devon Chilli farm is 4 minutes drive away. The Avon Mill Garden Centre in Loddiswell is renowned for it's good food and lovely setting. Dartmouth is only 40 minutes from us, likewise Totnes. Kingsbridge is our local town - just 5 miles away, with quaint local shops and great cafes and restaurants available, to meet all your needs.

    How to get there
    Swallows Haunt is 12 minutes drive from the A38. Leave A38 at Loddiswell, Modbury, Ugborough, turning. Follow signs for Loddiswell. Turn right at sign for Woolston Farm just before the South Devon Chilli Farm on your left. Follow the road past Woolston Farm and The Shepherds hut to your left. Keep right and follow the track to a grass triangle where you turn right into Stanton Court.

    The car park is on the left. Park outside the property to unload in the Courtyard.
