Lovely property will all you could want
Great house in the middle of Lyme near the sea. Lots of lovely touches (kids beach toys, Playstation, ice packs, cool bags, deck chairs, BBQ's, somewhere to store all the kids shoes etc etc) and Ian was a particularly communicative host. We really loved the enclosed garden allowing for the dog. The house is perfectly positioned with a back garden entrance leading into one of towns centrally located lanes. From the front of the house less than 1 min walk to dog beach. Hope to be there again later in the year.

Summer stay at fabulous cottage with all the amenities for family and pets, near the sea and town.
We love Lyme Regis and have stayed a few times. The host was very attentive and helped with our needs and offered advice on what to do and where to eat. The cottage is much bigger than the photos suggest and was perfect for the family and pooch. The cottage has loads of character and equipped with all the things you need to make sure you have a great stay. Hoping to visit again soon.

Very well appointed house on 3 levels, but has some traffic noise at front bedrooms.
House on 3 levels, very well apponted with lovely kitchen and dining area. Garden long and smallish but cosy. No parking for not a single car with aggresive neighbours who challenge one when unloading at back, as you can't unload by stopping at front.Traffic noise and no real sea view are the negatives. Clean, large and unusual old style interiors, plus very good internet access.

Fantastic house
Lovely old house in a great position near the beach and the local amenities. The owner was really helpful and answered all questions really promptly. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking to stay in the town.

Perfect house for families
We were lucky enough to spend a truly marvellous week in this house last week. The facilities for children were incredible and took so much of the hassle out of a week away. Location wise, it couldn't be better making a daily trip to the beach a breeze. A truly lovely house.

Easter in Lyme Regis
Lovely little cottage in lyme Regis. Well decorated and maintained. Kitchen is a really good communal area because of its size and nice big table and fire. Lounge is cozy in the colder evenings although because it’s on the road side is a bit noisy with traffic during the day. Nice little garden to bbq in and sit out in nice weather. Bedrooms good size and comfy beds. We took our small dog and they welcomed well behaved dogs (downstairs only which is fine). Location wise it’s really central. Parking is separate though and you have to use a pay and display £40 for one week so you need to factor that into costs. Overall though all we would return as it’s nice and Lyme Regis is great

There is a long stay car park, on Charmouth Road, that charges only £2 per day. It has a stair pathway from the car park that takes you to the sea wall which is a great walk to town and the cottage.

Lovely cottage
Everything impressed us: the cottage was clean, cosy, extremely well appointed with lots of much needed kit, even an espresso machine! Of particular importance for me was the really comfortable bed, I normally suffer so badly from back pain and lack of sleep on holiday, not here though, it was a pleasure to go to bed! The house is a lovely size, very spacious but still cosy for the just two of us and our dog. Lyme is great, lots of walking, bars, restaurants, even out of season. We went on an organised fossil hunt, meet at museum every day of year, very good value and so interesting, and everyone finds a fossil or two. Other good outings: get the bus in either direction for 7or 8 miles and walk back along the clip top path, beach or under cliff. Or, just sit in the sun (yes, in November) at a cafe with a glass of wine watching the world go by after a bit of mooching around the shops. Ian is very easy to communicate with, we felt comfortable and welcomed. He was happy for us to bring our dog and there were even dog biscuits/bowl/toys etc for her! We don't have kids but I can see that if you did there is so much provided for them too, highchair, safety stair gates etc.. The cottage is very close to beach, metres, has restaurants and nice shops in immediate area. We would stay there again without hesitation.
