Holiday Rental House
Sefton House is a self catering property centrally located in the coastal village of Alnmouth in Northumberland. Under new ownership we are investing in the property to ensure the decor and furnishings are to an extremely high standard, with fresh colours.We have seven bedrooms ranging from a single, twinsa luxurious kingsize and a triple with five bathrooms. The house is pet friendly with an enclosed back yard. Alnmouth is a small picturesque village with a variety of restaurants, pubs, coffee shops and gift shops. With a large variety of activities on the door step including; golf, surfing, boating, walking, cycling, fishing and boat trips to Coquet Island and The Farne Islands.
Groups are welcome - we are often used for family reunions, golfing parties (2 golf courses in Alnmouth), cycling groups, wedding parties.

This property booked by my son-in-law has been made into a comfortable rental, well appointed
with comfortable furnishings wood burner in the lounge and a stylist dining table which was adjacent to the kitchen and beds so comfortable that you were asleep as soon as your head hit the pillow
Only a short walk from the top of the street right to the beach and left to one of the best delis I have visited in a long time!
There are a choice of hostelries but the one that stood out for good friendly staff choice of proper ales and food was the Red Lion .It had buzz about it and the two ladies Claire and Lucy who where working the times I visited were friendly and knowledgeable especially Claire Do call in if you have time!

The house is extremely spacious even for 14 people. It was very clean, plenty of amenities and enough bathrooms to accommodate everyone. The communication with the owner was great and they always responded quickly with any questons leading up to our stay. The house is a 5 min walk from the local shops/pubs/beach and 10 min walk from the train station.

Had a lovely stay at Sefton House. The house easily accommodated 14 for a variety of ages. The bedrooms were able to be arranged to suit double or single beds to suit our needs which was a great touch and all commented as how comfortable they were. All the bathrooms / en-suites were ideal for each room. There was certainly enough room for us all to sit around the dining table as well as spread out. The kitchen was very well equipped and had everything we needed plus more. Lovely and clean and so close to the beach too. Definitely recommend a stay here and we are looking to book again.

We stayed at Sefton House in August as a family of two adults and three teenagers . House is decorated and furnished to a very high standard and has absolutely everything a family could need . Immaculately clean and comfortable. House two minute walk to beautiful beach and easy access to rest of Northumberland. Fabulous for walks , cycling and body boarding . Other recommendations whilst in area : kayak tour by Coquet Shorebase Trust, Amble ; Old School Gallery, Alnmouth ; Sea and Soil Restaurant, Amble ; Mowick Ice Cream

First visit to Alnmouth with a group of friends on a golfing trip. We really enjoyed staying in the property and would recommend it to any group looking for a comfortable house to cater to a large group. We had 10 in our party and all were very happy with the beds & space in lounge & dining room. We stayed in and played some poker one night & really enjoyed being able to chill out & have some fun. We went out two evenings to a local restaurant & pub & were impressed with the atmosphere and food on offer. The area is lovely & we were able to enjoy it as we visited three golf courses in the area . Planning to book again next year and already looking forward to staying in Sefton house

The house is great. Everything we needed. The beds were conformable. It is close to the beach and there is parking.

A beautifully appointed house with great facilities for a holiday with friends or family. Great family spaces with large rooms, comfortable, well equipped and ideally located for exhilarating walks along the stunning Northumberland coastline.
Ideal facilities for self catering but also well placed within easy walking distance of great cafes, restaurants and public houses.

We really enjoyed staying at Sefton House for my husbands 60th in May. There were 13 people in the party and everything was there that we needed, comfortable beds, spotlessly clean, well equipped kitchen, plenty of space to chill out. The log burner (all prepared with plenty of wood) made the evening very cosy and the house was beautifully decorated but in a very relaxed tasteful way. The house is within about 10 minutes walk to the beach, bars and restaurants, so the position is ideal and there was no trouble parking 3 cars in the street with the parking permits. The communication with the owner was brilliant and she was very quick to answer questions at the last minute. I would thoroughly recommend this property.

The location of this property is unbeatable. A stones throw from the beach, park and pubs, the house is a real gem. It has a homely feel, the goody bag with local products was quickly consumed! We were a party ranging in ages from 70 to 7 months. The owners were able to supply travel cots and baby gates and were on hand if we needed to contact them.The house is a short drive from Alnwick Gardens and there is plenty for young children and older people alike to do. We have already booked to return again and are hoping for the same blue skies and great weather.
