Penkiln cottage is set on Kirkland Farm and is a family run by Mark & Diane. The Cottage is part of a traditional steading which has been sympathetically converted to accommodate up to six people and is nestled within the farm yard. Named after the burn which runs by the cottage. We are on the edge of the world famous Galloway dark skies park and offer a homely relaxed stay with plenty to see and do. With a fully fitted modern kitchen, a spacious 26ft long lounge,with a sofa bed if needed, and two comfortable bedrooms along with a modern shower room.You will find everything you need in our cottage to make your stay a cosy home away from home. For those seeking sporting activities we have private fishing on the farm, golf course and swimming pool within Newton Stewart, and the world class seven stanes mountain bike trails only two miles down the road. There are countless things to do so whatever your plans, you are guaranteed a warm welcome to our family farm.More
