We're spoilt with stunning beaches, gorgeous countryside, fascinating historical landmarks, places to eat and fun family days out.
The Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion coastline has some of the UK's most beautiful Blue Flag and Green Coast award winning beaches. Perhaps start with Aberporth, Mwnt or Poppit Sands - watch for dolphins and seals! Please check tide times before you go, and seasonal dog restrictions if needed.
Cardigan Bay is ideal hiking country for both the experienced and casual walker. The Tourist Information Centre has walking routes. The Wales Coastal Path is now well established.
Nearby family activities include farms, wildlife centre, boat tours, theme and water parks.
Getting around
The town itself is within short walking distance from the house. This includes a wide selection of local and independent shops and places to eat.
There are a large number of activities, locations and sites within an hour's drive.
Cardigan is also on a number of main bus routes.
