Away from the crowds you can truly relax, and you don’t have to share the landscape with hundreds of other worthy ramblers. I arrived late at night...

Fantastic barn, beautifully restored to very high quality. We were met by the owner who made us feel extremely welcome and like it was our own home straight away. Every room has been well thought out and it really shows. Plenty of space and room for a large group to stay together and have our own space yet also enjoy...

We stayed at Gwedd y Glynn in April for a wedding. Unbeatable location for the wedding. The cottage had fantastic views, was well equipped, clean, spacious. Absolutely first class. The hosts were both very friendly and went over and above to ensure our stay was pleasant. Perfect.

About the neighbourhood
The area around Llanwrtyd Wells is full of natural beauty and breathtaking scenery, making it an ideal centre for walking, mountain biking, bird watching and touring. As you drive through Mid Wales it is often possible to spot a red kite, one of Britain's rarest birds. There are plenty of options for walking and hiking nearby in the Irfon Forest and around the Llyn Brianne Reservoir, an artificial lake which was created in the 70?s when the River Towy was dammed. At times of low rainfall, it is sometimes possible to see the roofs of the houses which had to be flooded in order for the dam to go ahead.

There is a lot going on in Llanwrtyd Wells throughout the year, so if you are looking for something a little bit different, then this is the place to come. This Mid Wales town is the home...
