About the neighbourhood
There is very much to see and to do. Too much for 2 week. Caves, Castles, 2 bigger cities for shopping and culture. There is a climbing park in the nearby village of Thenon. Sarlat la Caneda, Montignac with Lascaux 1,2,3 and the new opened and innovative Lascaux 4. Or take a Canoe and float on the rivers like the prehistoric people did. This area is breathing the ancient culture and gastronomy. You can also fantastic motorcycling, beautiful curvy roads (!) or cycling, there are attractive weekly markets and flea markets, night markets in July and August with great food. You will sit on long tables to enjoy your food. Of course there is a wide variety of choices for restaurants and in Terrasson the Michelin rewarded l'imaginaire.
Getting around
All activities are best reachable by car, or motorbike if you like. There are also 2 nearly new bikes available with 7 gears. If you would like to make use of these (this is for free) just let us know.
